Information for participants

This page is intended for participants to the School/Workshop and provides a few additional pieces of information regarding the presentation of your abstract.

Each contributing author will present the results both in a short oral presentation and in a poster session. The short oral presentation (Flash presentation) has the goal to inform the audience on the topic of your poster and to motivate to visit you during coffee breaks.

Short oral presentation

Presenters will be limited to 5 minutes presentation time (note there will be no time for discussion). The purpose of the flash presentations is to allow for a brief overview of all presenting participants and not to present all of results. You should only show the title and list of authors, and one or two provoking images which raise curiosity. In-depth discussions will be held at the posters during the poster sessions.

Poster presentations

All posters will be on display for the entire duration of the EBTT in designated poster area where coffee breaks will be held. Mounting of posters will be possible during Monday morning coffee break. Presenters with posters will be asked to present their work (i.e. be present at their posters and available for discussion) during breaks.

The poster display panels that will be available for poster presentations measure of maximum 900 mm width and 1500 mm height, however, not all of this area is available for your poster(s). The maximum size, as well as the recommended size/format are therefore given below. Please consider using the recommended format, although you are free to choose any size up to the maximum size. But in any case your poster must adhere to portrait orientation.
